Maggolee needs your voice and ideas…

One thing that makes Maggolee such a great resource is the knowledge and resources it features, and Reconciliation Victoria is constantly receiving, sharing, reviewing and updating Maggolee content.

However, like all great resources, Maggolee requires regular contributions and we very much value and welcome any support we can get from friends, Aboriginal community partners and local government networks.

So, if you have any story contributions, news, cultural advice, information, pictures, ideas or anything else you would like to share on Maggolee, simply touch base with us at projects@reconciliationvic.org.au

Learning Circle, Cultural Safety in Local Government

Reconciliation Victoria held a Learning Circle focusing on Cultural Safety in Local Government at the Aborigines Advancement League in Thornbury on Friday 27 July 2018.

Supported by Reconciliation Australia the event attracted more than 45 staff working across 16 Local Governments in Victoria.  Cultural loading was widely talked about as being a key issue for Aboriginal employees working in Local Government and to support councils to address the issue, some excellent cultural safety resources were shared via The Symbols to Systems framework.
