Koorie Art Show 2015

The Koorie Art Show is the Trust’s annual end-of-year showcase of Victoria’s Indigenous visual art talent.

Koorie Heritage Trust Inc, Gallery 1, lvl 1, Yarra Building, Federation Square.

Congratulations to the following award winners:

– Kelly Koumalatsos, winner of the Creative Victoria Award for Excellence In Any Media for her work “Ngarrenjuk Wile (Possum Fur)”, akua ink on paper.
– Marlene Gilson, winner of the Lend Lease Reconciliation Award for her work “Travellers”, acrylic on bark (featured image)
– Jaye Early, winner of the Unviersity of Melbourne Murrup Barak Innovation Award for his work “Never apologise for not being yourself because we’re made that way”, synthetic polymer paint and high gloss enamel on canvas.
– Dominic Bramall-White, winner of the Kane Constructions 3D Award for his work “Moomba message stick”, burnt acacia and band glass.
