NRW Breakfast for VOICE


Reconciliation Victoria are hosting our inaugural National Reconciliation Week: Be a Voice for Generations Breakfast.

We invite you to join us for this event that will bring together reconciliation supporters and champions to hear about the importance of voting YES in the Voice to Parliament referendum and reflect on this year’s NRW theme. We are privileged to have special guest speaker, Aunty Jill Gallagher AO joining us.

We will be presenting our inaugural Maggolee Awards to local governments supporting First Peoples’ voices and strong partnerships.

Walk the River exhibition and VOICES of Reconciliation Art workshop

When: Tuesday 30 May

Time: 9am - 11am

Where: The Centre, 275 Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe

Following our NRW Breakfast, we are inviting all supporters to immerse themselves in the Walk the River exhibition by Uncle Jim Berg and an interactive VOICES of Reconciliation painting activity with Aunty Karen Lovett at Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub, supported by Banyule City Council.  

The exhibition will run at the Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub from 19 May until 18 June.

Honouring Local Voices: Past, Present, Future
Rec Vic NRW Exhibition Opening

Capturing voices of First Nations artists past, present, and future. Highlighting a selection of artworks by award-winningBrunswick local artist, Turbo Brown, from the private collection of his friend and local store owner, Vince Sinni.

Bass Coast Reconciliation Forum

Where: Inverloch Community Library

Be part of two special interactive discussion panel events to become a champion for reconciliation.

Panel 2 will feature Rec Vic CEO Nicole Findlay as part of a discussion on Reconciliation Action Plans and organisations sharing their RAP journey.
